Quickly Taro Drink

Actually, I never tasted this. But some of my friends who tried this said that it tastes really good. The company also claims that this is the "healthier option" when compared to their competitors on cold drinks (example, Zagu). But then, for me, they are the same -- oozing with a lot of sugar.

Nonetheless, I am not here to say anything about its contents because I am not a nutritionist. Please see how I rated this product below:

Taste - it is a 8 out of 10. Same with other cold drinkable products. these are too sweet.

Price - this is very costly. So, the rating will be 6 out of 10. In one Quickly Taro drink, you will be able to buy a decent lunch with two viands for one person.

Packaging - 9 out of 10. Similar packaging with Zagu, but it is not biodegradable and it is really cold for the hand (if not given a tissue).

As a conclusion, this may be a better option than Zagu because they didn't use powderized flavors, but you just have to spare more money out of your pocket.

Herbench Wildflower Waterlily Body Spray

I bought this last January 17, 2011 and it lasted for few weeks for me.

The main reason why I chose this was the container. I was planning to reuse it as a sprayer when I am ironing my clothes, and it seems that the scent was fair enough. My review is summarized below.

Packaging. It's 9 out of 10. The packaging is reusable, the design is cute and you'll also get a free hair accessory. Not just that, the bottle is quite sturdy because mine had survived several falls and squeezes.

Scent. It's a 4 out of 10. Of course, as its promise, it's just a baby cologne, sweet scented like the scent of flowers or fruits infused together. In short, the scent is very common, nothing special or head turning about it. Another thing, it is not a long-lasting scent. It only lingers to my clothes in about an hour then it's gone.

Price. I think I bought this for PhP120.00, and for me the only thing that made it this price is the packaging, not the scent. So, don't buy this is you are after long lasting and unique scents because it will not be worth your money.

Jamaican Pattie Shop

Last year, one of my closest friend asked me if I ever tried eating a product from Jamaican Pattie Shop. I got good raves from her, telling me that it tastes really good especially when hot. So, one time last year, I tried it. So, here are the pictures, prices and flavors included.

What I bought was the Cheezy Beef. Ok, so here it goes.

Packaging - its fine. Its 8 out of 10. I gave it 2 less than perfect because it was sooooo hot when I tried eating it and my tongue got burned. But other than that, it was ok.

Taste - it was good. So, it will be 9 out of 10. If you are a person who likes eating something that has a strong flavor, this one is for you. I swear, you will love the pattie itself, but the stuffings are not that many. But it is very flavorful and my friend is right. It tastes very very yummy especially when hot.

Price - it is expensive, but fair enough because of its taste. But if you are to compare it to other things that you can buy with PhP40.00-45.00 like a rice with a viand, then, it will lose its value in favor of its competitor.

Egg Leche Flan

I bought this last year, I think around the first week of November when I have to go to the National Post Office to pick-up a parcel for my office. They look very cute, and I forgot the price already. I think its PhP20.00 each, so I bought 3pcs.

Presentation/Packaging - Its a 10 out of 10! It looks very cute and very handy, ideal for give-aways.

Taste - 1 out of 10. The taste simply sucks. I'm sorry to say that, but ideally a Leche Flan should be soft, creamy, sweet, and bathing with caramel, but this one does not contain any liquid in it. It's very dry, and it was hard. It is nearer to the taste of a gelatin with lots of sugar. But I understand that this is the downside of their beautiful packaging, because they have to sacrifice the softness (to make sure that the it won't break) and the liquid (so that it won't be messy when the eggs break).

Price - It's too expensive. I just wasted my money on it. Though, it's worth taking a picture, it's not worth savoring in your mouth.
